U.S. President Donald Trump launched a sharp critique directed at CNN and its public opinion polling, dismissing the network’s latest data as fabricated and attacking the news organization's credibility.
The remarks follow the release of recent national polls that surveyed public sentiment surrounding current administration policies and economic trends. President Trump rejected the figures, calling into question the methodology and intent behind the media network's reporting.
"CNN's poll numbers are fake and your whole outfit is fake — and so are you." — Donald Trump, President of the United States
The confrontation reflects ongoing tensions between the White House and major news outlets. The administration has repeatedly challenged media coverage and national polling data, maintaining that internal campaign metrics show strong support across key battleground districts and national demographics.
